The consequences of sleeping in

Have you ever had these incredibly weird dreams because you've slept in too much? I've been pampered by sleeping in as late as 10:30 in the morning (my kids are now at the age where they can pour their own bowl of cereal, thank God!) but the dreams I've been having are just absolutely bizarre!

In one dream I found myself in what I can only think of as Rome, in the middle of the night at a plaza where there were shops and people milling about, and one of my instructors from school was there and bought me a flower. Erm...?

In another I was on a school bus, but it was parked at a fair, and there were teenagers all over the place acting, well, I guess like teenagers. In my dream I took exception to the behavior of one and decided to play the Moral Police. It didn't turn out so well for me, though. One of the kids in my dream threw up on me and ruined what would have been an incredibly cute outfit. Gross!

Lastly, and I think this is the dream that has freaked me out most out of all of them recently, is that I went over to a friend's house to drop off my kids for a playdate. Later, when I came to pick the kids back up, I found another couple, who we socialize with separately, there on a different kind of social visit. I got the impression in my dream that they were having their own "swingers" party.

I can only imagine what my subconscious is trying to tell me. What do you think Freud would say? Stop sleeping in, for starters?

I haven't had any odd dreams lately, but I've definitely had my fair share. Maybe the brain just has phases like that where it creates dreams exceptionally more peculiar than usual.

I love days when I remember my dreams!

When I start having those weird morning dreams, I force myself to get up.

If you're going to start swinging, let me know. I'll be there quicker than you can pop open a can of beer.

My body has gotten accustomed to waking up early. Even on weekends, I wake up at the exact same time every morning.. somewhere between 5:56 and 5:58.. LOL No kidding! Today, I got up for a few minutes then went back to bed and slept until 10:00. I woke up with my back and neck and shoulder hurting. I don't remember what I dreamed about but it is true.. usually the strangest dreams come in the morning.

Good luck with your upcoming surgery!

I can barely remember dreams these days. Cameron has been FINALLY sleeping all the way through the night for the past 3 months (he'll be 18 mos in 5 days) and you'd think with the uninterrupted sleep, I'd get to bed on time. Yeah, so much for that. I think I'm on a quest for 'me' time or something.

Creepy dreams...hahaha. Oh, and for the love of Pete, please tell me Lou was joking...?

My MIL often takes the baby for sleepovers on Saturday nights, so Sundays are my days for weird dreams. Last night, after watching some One Tree Hill (my latest teen drama) I had a dream that I was friends with Chad Micahel Murray. I don't even LIKE him and think he looks kind of skanky in real life. Weird.

for your dreams here 's for u : click here : http://www.mydreamvisions.com

here in italy we do this "game" : when u got the number corresponding at the dream you can bet (by money) this number to the national lottery. and if this one "goes out" you win what you bet for 10 times a lot ; it's 'a little one complicated 'cause there are different way to play (you should bet the number and the country where it will be extracted - the countries if i not mistake are ten- if you play two or more numbers linked you win more..etc..) . i'm sure that in holland there is this "game" for sure.

"sometimes" i have win(no much more that 50 euro!!i don't bet much money!!! i'm not "a slave of the game" like unfortunately many people are).

i remember that one day I dreamt that I was in Venice, Venice the number corresponds is 2, therefore I bet 5 euro on 2 summary to Venice and I won 50 euro. what a satisfaction!it's so strange that for real this is happens!!
another time i have dreamt a man call Marc that show me his five fingers..well i have bet the number 5 on the country of Milano and i had won! :)))

another kind of play this game is that if u dream a dear relative that is dead, you should play the age of when this one was dead.. we use to say that the relative comes in your dreams for give u love and happyness supporting delight and money. ..i don't know if all of these are true or only (italian!!!) popular traditions.. but why don't to try ? ...

Excuse me if I did much chats. .. now i go to work...

p.s. i'm sorry that u were in Rome the last night..if i know it we can take a cup of coffee togheter!!:D

I've had some crazy dreams and think most of them have to do with daily stresses and concerns or the last thing I ate before I went to bed. ;)

Have a good week, Liz.
