The case of the missing tweezers

Pen and notebook in hand, Emily stood before me and posed her first question. "When did you last see them?" she asked. "I need the exact date."
"The 18th," I fibbed. In truth, I hadn't seem them in forever.
Emily scribbled something in her notebook and walked away. I returned to marveling at Michelle's new pendant that she crafted by hand. (Visit her Esty shop, Shoozles, where I dare you not to drool!)
"I'll need a list of suspects." Emily was now behind me, pen poised.
I turned away from the glass goodies. "Well, there's you," I offered.
Emily made a face.
I thought for a moment. "Daddy."
Emily scribbled.
"And Harley."
Offering the dog up as a suspect earned me a pair of rolled eyes. Emily turned away from me and hunted down her father for questioning.
I hope my daughter is successful in locating the missing tweezers. My bet's on her father, but Lord knows where he's put them. Or worse yet, what he's done with them.
To be continued...

we went through a phase where we were losing tweezers left and right. I bought an expensive pair of pink Tweezermans and no one's aloud to touch them but me.

Emily is such a hoot!! Has she found the culprit yet? I'm sure it won't take her long. I've got about 14 pairs of tweezers, all floating round in different places. I think the only one I can keep track of is sitting in the van right now...yes, a pair in the van.

Oh! Thanks for reminding me. I took my husband's tweezers yesterday and he'll kill me if I don't give them back!

Or it'll just prove once again how disorganized I am- which I am!

It's sure death to steal my expensive tweezers. I told my dad (since he lives with me... and the cats don't tweeze and if they did, I'd be freaked out royally...) that if he wants to tweeze his nose hairs... get his own otherwise, the shed is where he'd be sleeping (OK - not really but you know what I mean)...

Nancy Drew in the making... hmmm... who took those tweezers...

I confess. I own a pair. For some strange reason Old Age brings about hair growing on one's (my) ear lobes. Ewww. I can't stand it. Best place to keep them so I know where they are at all times? My travel essentials bag. Seems to me that's as good a place as any to keep those things.

Your girls are so bloody cute. Hope you find them soon. Do you have any IPA? You might want to douse them with it.

And with that, I'm all caught up - woo-hoo.
